Pelotonia Fundraising Designs

The past few years I have had the pleasure of helping my friend and fellow cancer survivor, Shannon Rece, raise money for her personal Pelotonia campaign. She has raised an amazing over $25,000 the past 4 years towards cancer research. Pelotonia as a whole has raised over $217million since it’s founding, with One Goal: to end cancer.

NFL's "My Cause, My Cleats"

In 2019, I was asked by Shannon’s friend, former Buckeye and at that time Cincinnati Bengal now New York Giant, Billy Price to design a Pelotonia themed shoe for the NFL’s #MyCauseMyCleats campaign. The cleats were masterfully created by former Buckeye walk-on Kato Mitchell. 100% of the money raised went towards Pelotonia.

Columbus Landmarks

The Columbus Landmarks Foundation advocates for, promotes and preserves Columbus landmarks and neighborhoods. I volunteered with them conducting tours and doing presentations. I also created graphics for informational handouts during walking tours and graphic work to help promote tours and events.

These two images were modified to be used on Facebook event pages for two different haunted tours. They were edited to be more atmospheric. The left images is a bridge in Glen Echo Ravine. Note the spirits of Civil War soldiers added under the bridge. The right image is the Harrison House located in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus. In this image, the typical dreary Columbus gray sky was modified to be even more gloomy to suit the mood of the haunted tour of the neighborhood.

This was the opening slide for a presentation on the Ohio State Penitentiary. The map below was also part of the tour & presentation.

This image was part of a presentation for tours at Fort Hayes in Columbus. It includes some newspaper clippings of tragic events at and near the site.

The above map was a handout four use during the walking tour portion of “Tales of the Ohio Pen”. The Ohio Pen was demolished in 1997 and the area is now full of apartments and offices and sits near Nationwide Arena. The former location of the Death House is unmarked in a park.

This flyer was used to promote a tour in the historic Engine House No. 16 in downtown Columbus. The former firehouse now serves as the home of The Central Ohio Fire Museum and Learning Center. The museum provides a look back into the history of firefighting and also promotes fire safety.
